Het Plantsoen is a grand café and restaurant in Amsterdam, right in the heart of the Jordaan. Drop by for a sandwich at lunchtime, stay on for drinks or sit down for dinner.
The all day menu runs throughout the day; from 4pm, the dinner menu is ready. Vegetarian dishes appear on every menu and you can always ask our staff about dietary wishes and allergies.

- Tuna salad — pepper, cornichons and red onion
- Smoked salmon — herb crème fraîche and capers
- Oriental chicken — sambal mayo, red onion and sesame seeds
- Warm goat's cheese — truffle honey and pine nuts

- Tagliatelle with marinated chicken — mushrooms, spinach, white wine sauce and Parmesan

Bowls and ramen
- Green bowl — vegetables, avocado, green apple, quinoa and haricots verts, with marinated chicken, smoked salmon or goat's cheese
- Miso ramen — noodles, bean sprouts, pak choi, mushrooms and shoyu egg, with marinated or fresh salmon or tempeh
Deep-fried snacks and toasties
- Van Dobben veal croquettes on lightly toasted bread
- Portion of fries with mayo or ketchup
- Sweet potato fries with truffle mayonnaise
- Plantsoen triple toasties — ham, cheese and tomato / marinated chicken and cheese / mozzarella, pesto and tomato

The bar runs through the space under the big tree. Outside, the outdoor bar sits on the covered terrace by the water.
The terrace is covered and can be heated if needed, so you'll be comfortable outside the summer season too. Ask our staff what's being poured that day.
